While a source says Penn and Pattinson still talk, the source also says she's been spending more time lately with Vampire Diaries hottie Steven R. McQueen. They were first spotted together about a month ago having dinner with null and Penn's dad after the premiere of his film, The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty.
The Penn and Pattinson rumors first surfaced in September when they were seen at Chateau Marmont and then about a month later at a book party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
When asked in the new issue of GQ about the attention she's received because of Pattinson, Penn says, "That's been very foreign to me. But actually kind of funny, because it's all bulls--t."
No word if she's talking about the attention or the romance rumors.

I guess I just want the person at the pub table with Nettie and Rob to be Kristen in drag as the glasses look familiar , but that's just silly. It has to be another friend of theirs and looks like he has a beard too. I don't know, it just seemed logical.
I believe if Kristen was at the Pub with Nettie and Rob, then someone would have seen them and mentioned it, so I don't believe that's Kristen. I definitely believe they can go ninja, but I would expect that if she was in London that at one point or another, there will be a sighting, a tweet...anything, especially since there have been quite a few sightings of Rob.

@Arleen, that cough is really hanging around isn't it. I hope you don't mind my saying....they say ginger tea and lemon is really helpful. Also, I had a really bad cough a few weeks back on the verge of bronchitis, I had one acupuncture treatment and it helped a lot. It must be really cold where you are. Look after yourself sweetie.

DEAR HKN, I have a good feeling about January 2014. For both Rob and Kristen ,there are really good events in their lives. I feel we will be right at the front knowing this good news. Kristen is very happy, Rob is very content. Let's remember to watch for their new films and try to make a log. I feel very happy and really do not know why, it is a hunch. My hunches always come out well. Life is just amazing.

Pics are probably not from Dec. 23rd as CJ was at the party on the 22nd with much shorter hair. Also, it wasn't that cold in LA last week (those boots she's wearing are warm) ... I think pics are from earlier in Dec, probably before Chanel.

What does it matter when and where pictures of Kristen were taken? It does not matter because ultimately the argument comes down to whether or not they are still a couple. Some (including me) believe they are and some don't. But regardless of what me or someone else thinks their relationship status is, they (R/K) are doing everything in their power to keep us out of the loop. Which is fine because it is not our business; I feel bad for them because they are very young and while they are trying to stay away from the public as a couple, I am afraid they are also denying themselves. I think Kristen put it well when she spoke of tearing down walls because while she was building walls (to protect her privacy) she was behinds those walls and couldn't see what was beyond those walls. The same is true today. Going out to dinner, to a concert, strolling on a warm evening in Summer, taking your dogs for a drive or a walk, stopping by the florist to pick up some flowers, strolling with friends, just simply living life. This is why each and every one of us is here to do. Live. This career path they've (R/K) have chosen is a bitter sweet one. If you are lucky and fortunate enough to get to the top, it comes with a lot of power, influence, money, but it also comes with over zealous fans and people who have a need to want to know your every move, not to forget the paparazzi who are following relentlessly to provide eager fans with images of their daily activities. There should be a manual for prospective stars so that they will know what to expect. They ought to know that this is not an easy career and in some cases, you are going to have to lose yourself, sacrifice your privacy because that is the price, like it or not. Most, not all, but most know what they are getting into and there are many more in line willing to pay this price. You can not be a star and refuse to shine. That is what they are; they shine for all to see.
A movie star comes to the studio for a night show recording. He walks in, does his bit, and he leaves. Not one fan outside to greet him; not one. He sits in his car back to the airport and he knows, his career is over. Without fans, actors have nothing. When thousands of people (aka fans)stand in pouring rain, freezing weather, hot sun, and camp out just to get a glimpse of you, these people (fans)are not crazy, they are a gift to behold. They buy tickets to your movies without even knowing the synopsis not because they are nuts, but just because they believe in your work, your talent. I so admire the fans who come here and on other R/K sites on a daily basis; so committed. You are truly exceptional fans (myself included) and I applause all of you. Where will celebrities be without fans? No where.
And for R/K, they seem to be going the extra mile to make everyone, including we the fans believe they are no more. Well, we get they want their privacy, just as long as they don't lose those moments in life when get to share an experience with someone special because they were determined to keep the paparazzi out. Like she said, you put up a wall to block people out, but you are also walled in. Your twenties goes by like lightening. You blink and you wonder where the time went.
Hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas. I did!! But the best part was watching love ones opening gifts I got for them and the screams of joy that follow. Priceless!! I'll check in New Years Eve to wish you all you know what. Until then. Hugs to all.

For instance I choose to believe that Kristen left when she wanted to and these pictures are from early Dec. before Dallas. I repeat, the paparazzi do not know where Kristen is. SO ALL THESE OLD SHOTS MAKE THEM WHAT----MONEY! I AM AMAZED AT THE FACT THEY JUST KEEP ON USING OLD PICTURES--I GUESSTHEY THINK WE ARE REALLY STUPID.
@Elizabeth - well said in that Kristen and Rob have had to make sacrifices in order to stay together and that one of the main sacrifices is being unable to appear with each other in public, to be that 'normal' couple you described so well. A couple who can take a drive together, walk the dogs together, go out to dinner or for a coffee together, walk hand in hand together - all the things the average couple takes for granted.
And yes, actors, like other performers, need fans in order to have successful careers. We've been discussing the topic of fans on DIDY recently. (Hannah P. has posted an excellent summary of the discussions on JFK and DIDY). One thing we agreed on is that there are two types of fans... That essentially fans always have a choice of whether to be 'good' fans or overly intrusive fans. Nick has named them the 'real fans' and the 'anti fans'.
Yes, celebrities do have to give up a certain amount of privacy but it doesn't prevent most of them from openly having a partner, even a famous partner. First Brad and Jennifer and then Brad and Angelina are good examples because both partners were stars in their own right. Were they hounded in the same way as Rob and Kristen? There is something excessive about the 'anti fans' of Rob and Kristen.
Fans can choose to focus only on Rob's and Kristen's careers and look forward to their movies and new projects and interviews and appearances at premieres and to the promotions for the clothing and perfume brands they represent. They can choose to say: "Isn't it wonderful that they seem to have found a loving, supportive relationship with one another"; and smile and enjoy R&K's happiness with each other and their appearances as a couple as they support one another at their premieres. This type of fandom would allow them to live as a couple, even though a more exposed couple than most.
Or fans can choose to obsess over the details of Kristen's and Rob's private and personal relationship with one another and/or look for ways to tear apart and tear down K or R.... It's the need for that kind of information which leads to the stalking of Kristen and Rob by the paparazzi, the stalking which now prevents them from living openly as a couple.
Like most everyone else on HKN, DIDY, RPI, JFK, I will continue to believe that Rob and Kristen are still together unless I see them consistently with someone else. Like most everyone else on these sites, I have the sense not to pay attention to the tabloids or to over-invest in the personal lives of two people I don't personally know.
But those are choices we fans have made - the choice to not be taken in by the nonsense spewed by the tabloids and the choice to respect the privacy of Rob and Kristen. If all in the fandom were like us there would be no paparazzi constantly stalking R&K because there would be no market for such vast quantities of intrusive pictures and speculative written fiction about them.
With respectful fans, it's possible for stars to have a relationship with a high profile partner and to be a couple and a family in public. Yes, there would still be some intrusion by the paps but without such a huge demand it would be possible to not have to put up those walls quite as high. It's the disrespectful fans who've over-identified with and fantasized about R&K, who have created the dramas and the problems and the need for such high walls. These are the 'anti fans' who will hopefully disappear if they can be convinced that all that's left to see are two individual actors with two individual careers.

And I agree the occupation the Kristen and rob to have searched out is tough, but I'm sure that they knew of them. Game to play just always this Ninja and Mia isn't going to work, maybe for a few months. I would find it very stressful. To time wants to be scanned each time with his partners in the public and not always with friends. Also don't care the two. Paps are always there in any case.

I've had the same thoughts many times.
I often wondered if all the concessions they had to make to live a sort of normal life, was/is gonna catch up on them. Realizing they don't have control over their lives after all, the lives they lead are forced upon them by us (us as in fans/tabs/papz etc.)
So many sacrifices, they seem to live on a knife edge between freedom and insanity. It's one of the reasons lately that I'm backing off. I find the discussions/arguments about the weather in LA and Kristen wearing long sleeved jumpers, totally and absolutely ludicrous, tedious and so so wrong in so so many ways.

You talk about the RK fandom and how it's fractured into two parts, one part being the "anti fan" base. My question is why does RK have such an anti fan base? Other celebraties don't seem to have to indure nearly as much as Rob and Kristen do.
I think this situation is like a "perfect storm" for celebrity obsession and stalking. First, you have two attractive charismatic actors playing the romantic leads in one of the biggest movie franchises of all time, appealing to multi generations. Huge!
Then, come to find out, they fell in love while filming the movies right in front of our eyes. The more their indearing personalities were revealed in public interviews, the more their fans fell in love with them, because they were unique in the plastic forum of Hollywood. There was an innocence to them that hadn't been seen before. And don't get me started on the obvious affection and adoration they both had for each other that fans swooned over even though RK tried to hide it. Fans were hooked. People that claimed they'd never followed celebraties before in their lives were stuck on these two (I being one lol).
Like anything so big, you end up with a very broad spectrum, on one end you had the devoted fans who loved both actors equally to the point of obsessing about them daily, and on the other end you had fans that hated one or the other to the point of obsessing over them daily. And then you have the fans caught in the middle......
The fandom went on this way for awhile, waiting for any tidbit of information this very private couple would reveal. It became obvious that RK were not interested in sharing anything about their personal lives, which included their relationship. This fueled the fandom. Are they or aren't they? Devout shippers saying they are, devout Robsessed and Kristbians saying they aren't. This created great animosity within the fandom, but Rob and Kristen held true to their convictions and shared nothing with their fans or the media. It just made fans admire them more, and create more of an obsession to find out anything about their private lives.

Though you had a fandom with opposing opinions, it was a very pleasant place to dwell in, many friendships were formed. And then........
Something happened that should never had been made public....... July 2012. The fandom went crazy! Literally. Before, there was respectful disagreement, now? All out civil war! Haters hated more, friends turning on each other, the fandom was a mess. A once pleasant place was now a hot bed of hatered towards Kristen, Rob, and fans. A complete 180. And through it all, Rob and Kristen remained silent, refusing to say anything. Which, once again, added fuel to this obsessed fandom . Are they or aren't they? But this time it got real nasty, with anti fans actually taking action to sabotages Kristen's career and life.
And though things have calmed down with the passing of the Twilight franchise, many fans moving on to other high profile celebrities that give them what they want, there is still a fever that surrounds these two, causing media outlets and paps to invade their lives to make a bundle exploiting them, because their are still fans that want to know......are they or aren't they? And Rob and Kristen continue to deny them, sticking to their stoic convictions that their private lives are not for sale. Which in turn, just makes their fans admire and respect them more, but still wanting to know that nagging question.....are they or aren't they?
I truly admire Rob and Kristen for sticking to their guns. It just shows what strong personalities they have. But I believe if they did reveal some of their personal lives, like other celebraties do through their PR people, there would not still be such a buzz surrounding them. It's the mystery that fuels the arguments in this fandom, and creates most of the discussion here. Hell, this entire blog is based on it, Haters Know Nothing!
Do I think Rob and Kristen should then write a Tell All book? No, absolutely not! I love their strength, and honestly, I think they have moved on from it way more than their fans have. But there is a backlash to it, which seems to continue to cost them dearly, and as a fan I weep for them over it.....

There is some debate on how current they are. The length of CJ's hair is raising speculation. First, the pics were said to be from yesterday, then the date was changed to the 23, which was around CJ's party. But CJs hair is shorter in his party pics, which were taken the day before these supposed gas pump pics were taken........not adding up. Also, they are dressed for much cooler weather, and we know it's been warm in LA.
Starting to agree with the idea that our friendly paps (Rolando) has a reserve of pics to sell during a drout period. Hell, the guys gotta eat right?
Also, Rob was tweeted about being out at a pub last night in London.
All adds up to........we are all in the dark lol. As it should be lol.

@Sanni K. - Yes, you're right - the paps will be there in any case. But they stalk Rob and Kristen more than they do other celebrities because of the big base of 'anti fans'. SUE, I agree with you about the utter absurdity of constant verbal repetition of their very lives. This when no one really knows what their life is like and honestly, I do not think that anyone really cares what their life is like but them! You really have to remove yourself from stupid past statements from the past, the illusions that you thought was true and suddenly realize that Rob and Kristen did not say most of what has been written. And they most probably will never break their silence and there is no good reason to share their lives with anyone but each other. So many stupid people insisting on their world being objectively picked apart like Miss Betty from HL who considers herself psychic. I have a hunch that Rob and Kristen will have the last laugh and so far no one looks more stupid that the hags and magazines because everyone knows they are junk and are just a waste of time and money. I care about these two young actors and they have outgrown their Twilight images. They are developing into actors that love their craft and I want to see the newest creations! At this point, we have no real knowledge of where Kristen or Rob are. LA, London or IOW. Who knows? The important thing is, they are together and are celebrating it with family and friends. I love my Ninja R/K!!!

I am a long JFK, first time posting. I am here to report that there were at least six sightings of Rob and Kris at IOW this morning on Twitter. Many tweets requesting pictures to confirm sightings. @Jan, that was hard work but so true on many points. My respect for R&K has only grown over the last months.
I for one, didn't give a toss about celebrities, I'm so far removed from being starstruck, except maybe Viggo Mortenson from LOTR and Russell Crowe from The Gladiator (hah my intentions not being very pure).
Seriously though, I love how these kids are still standing strong. Most of us would be running away screaming to the nearest asylum if we were treated like they are. People are vile creatures and there are a hell of a lot of them in this fandom.
I hope R&K are holed up some where, enjoying and loving each other, laughing at how crazy their lives are, knowing they are as solid as a rock and fuck the haters.

@Aurora Roux - your statement is confusing. You say there is not one bit of proof that they are spending NYE together - what kind of proof did you need? A personal invitation from them? A series of staged photographs from the paps? Well placed press releases? You are correct - you have no right to have that information because its not about you. I think if you truly understood and respected R&K you would know that this is EXACTLY how they work - they do not invite people they don't know into their private lives (unlike some celebrities coughKimandKanyecough) because they truly desire a private life. So I would stop questioning what they are doing just because they haven't told the world in advance.
Good Morning! We need to give the New Years stuff a rest! I am just not into it and I think what they do, the movies, are really what I would like to see. Their private plans are what the press create and they really have no clue where or what they are, which is terrific. Everyone talks about needing a picture, Why? I don't. They don't owe me anything. They gave up so much of their life in the past five years, that right about now, if they want to share, they will. If they prefer to not have press following every last thing they do, they won't. If I were Rob or Kristen as much pain as they have taken because they refuse to talk about their lives, I would stay in a quiet mode as long as I could get away with it. Regarding the sighting and all of that, since the pictures are from Saturday, I think it's possible K flew to the UK on Saturday night after Charlotte arrived to LA and leaving everything settled, and she and rob went straight to the IOW. But that is just a possibility, I'm not saying it happened, justo going with what I am hearing.
But it also could be that I am imagining everything and k is in LA and rob in london, and everyone is happy...

Concerning those pics, I definitely see a bump. I don't get how some ppl don't see it tbh. I'm glad to see Kristen is happy and smiling :) Her and Rob really have been smiling a lot in recent months. Wonder why?!? ;)
I don't think those pics are from the 28th though. It was pointed out to me that Charlotte is a lot taller than K in reality - in fact almost as tall as CamStew - yet she is the same size as Kristen in those pics. Very weird... Seems to me that those pics have been doctored with, just like all the other pics we have gotten from K recently as well...
I think the media are trying to place her in LA because they don't know where she is and they know R is in London. That way they can set up some drama to make some money off of RK...
@angel52 I work for an airline and we allow women to fly up to their 34th week of pregnancy, anything after that is seen as too risky. I assume other airlines have similar regulations. So K should still be good to fly from an airline's side but of course a doctor might decide differently if there have been complications during the pregnancy for example...

I just got home from the doctor. He did some xray for my chest. Just to check for Pneumonia. But thank goodness its not. Its Bronchitis. So he gave me inhaler and predniSone. Some ways to be supportive are:
a) Not putting down or being disrespectful to Kristen, Rob and their relationship; or being disrespectful to others who comment on this site:
eg. Enna Dec.30: putting down those on this site for believing Kristen is pregnant by insinuating Enna's sticking up for Kristen because those who comment here are examining pictures of her body and in her opinion shouldn't be doing so.
Actually, Enna's doing what exactly what she's criticizing others for doing - i.e. examining pics of Kristen for signs of pregnancy. The only difference is that in this case Enna claims she doesn't see any signs of pregnancy. Not only is this hypocritical but if this genuinely upsets her, one has to ask what Enna is doing on this particular site, as HKN believes Kristen is pregnant.
b) Not demanding to know every detail of lives Rob and Kristen have shown they want to keep private - and not having the right to know details about their friends' private lives (especially when those friends are not public figures):
eg. Alexa Maria: Dec.27 asking for details of Nettie's boyfriend.
c) Not finding ways to question Rob's and Kristen's relationship with one another:
eg. Alexa Maria: Dec.28 pointing out Kristen was not together with Rob in London for Christmas as something negative, when there's no logical reason they would be together at that time anyway - real fans know they haven't been in the habit spending Christmases together.
d) Not insinuating either Kristen or Rob is in a sexual relationship with friends of theirs who are assumed to be gay; and not being disparaging of K&R's friends who are/might be gay:
eg. Alexa Maria: Dec.30 calling it "disgusting" that Kristen is with her friend (assumed to be gay) instead of being with Rob.
Note to Alexa Maria:

I do this myself all the time when writing in a second language to friends so that I minimize the chance of causing offense. Alexa Maria, I'd still like to give you the benefit of the doubt - but as GaliRK says, it's hard to do so. It's not just your vocabulary or wording which give the impression you're not a genuine supporter of Rob and Kristen as a couple. It's the way there seems to be a pattern of trying to cast doubt on what most people on this site have chosen to believe. That could be viewed as being disrespectful to HKN and the people who post here.

Elizbeth - well said on 12/28 - at some point you have to live a life. Dodging the pappers cannot be the top priority of your life for an extended period of time. What kind of life is that? I cannot imagine not being able to come and go as I please. It's a shame moving from L.A. would actually be a good option - especially when it's your hometown and where your family and friends are. Let's see I already finish the prednisone. Still taking inhaler. I thought I was getting better. But I spoke to soon about the cough. But its slowly dying down. My husband think my should be clearing up soon. But will see. But another things Trochanteric bursitis on left hip is back. Since Friday 1/3 I slipped on the hard ice on the street. I hit my left hip when I walking. I just took a hot shower to help with that. I will take motrin soon. I wish there is another home treatment to help with that part.
