Robert Pattinson Exits Mission Blacklist!
Robert Pattinson Exits Saddam Hussein Thriller ‘Mission: Blacklist’ (Exclusive)
Robert Pattinson has exited “Mission: Blacklist,” an indie thriller about the hunt for Saddam Hussein, due to scheduling issues, TheWrap has learned.
First announced in May 2012, Pattinson was set to play military interrogator Eric Maddox, who spearheaded Hussein's capture.
With two films premiering at Cannes, Pattinson is coming off a very active period. He just wrapped Anton Corbijn's “Life” with Dane DeHaan and did not have sufficient time to prepare for his demanding role in “Mission: Blacklist,” an individual familiar with the situation told TheWrap.
The role of Maddox will now be recast, and the filmmakers hope to start production this fall.

Just thinking it's really odd we are getting no pictures at all.

I thought it was interesting that most of the clothes she had on were rather big and flowing. Doppler Radar and all of the latest scientific technology for weather forcasting got it wrong again...All the storms skipped over the entire charlotte area and went to the coastal side of NC... jeez .. they tell you days in advance that horrific storms are headed your way ... you stay on edge keeping out a wary eye and waiting ... mother nature has her own ideas to heck with technology... with r/k avoiding to be seen together (as much as they can) for almost a year by now.. why would they go out and be public with their relationships at cannes? i just don't think they would do that. it would be a tab storm for sure.
i know that the midnight screening for 'the rover' is happening too.. rob will, most likely, attend.. but the camp-x-ray screening is only for distributors.. don't think that k needs to be there for that.
whatever will happen, we will see. they are always doing things, like they want to do and as it should be.. on their own terms.
I like to call myself a lazy catholic and yes our new Pope is making cool to be Catholic again and he is from South America too (I'm Latina). I think it was a wonderful choice and a clear message.

Hello all good to see you all today and hope you are all dooing well..BBL
ANDREANNA, I was a fellowship member of the Franciscan order, and was married, so never became a nun in the Anglican church. I love the teachings of St Francis and he sits proudly on my front porch, where I close my eyes each day to pray for loved ones. I try for communion each week when I can manage kneeling. Lizzie, I feel better emotionally, my body is still a bit cranky. I think Kristen's and Rob's protection detail is super and I still say my mind will be blown if they make the attempt to do both the Met and Cannes, but what the heck do I know? Both are important to them, possibly Cannes somewhat more, but I just want to see those trailers for Kristen and the newest ones for Rob. That would make this old girl happy! I am watching SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMEN and if Kristen and Chris H actually did write a sequel, as was mentioned, I would certainly want to seethe sequel. I heard that Rob and Kris were writing something. I really hope it's a mystery story. I love detective stories and science fiction, and good old true romance put in there for good measure. TWIRLING LIZZIE, TWIRLING!
ReplyDeletePublicizing the dates, confirmed or unconfirmed, to me is just advertising. The last thing either Rob or Kristen would want or do is declare when or if they would appear. I think we might get a surprise. I am still afraid for them to appear together and am sure they are already getting warnings. At some point, life just gets tedious. The Rabbi Is Leaving ...
At the regular Saturday morning service, the rabbi announced that he was planning to leave for a larger congregation, that would pay him more.
There is a hush within the congregation. No one wants him to leave because he is so popular.
Fred Shapiro, who owns several car dealerships in Newton and Brooklyn , stands up and proclaims "If the rabbi stays, I will provide him with a new Cadillac every year, and his wife with a Honda mini-van, to transport their children.
The congregation sighs in appreciation and applauds.
Saul Cohen, a successful businessman and lawyer, stands and says, "If the rabbi will stay on here, I'll personally double his salary, and establish a foundation to guarantee a free college education for his children!"
More sighs and loud applause.
Estelle Rubin, age 88, stands and announces with a smile, "If the rabbi stays, I will give him sex!"
There is total silence.
The rabbi, blushing, asks her: "Mrs. Rubin, you're a wonderful and holy lady. Whatever possessed you to say that?"

I'm sure that weither or not R and K attend Cannes this year and each other première or not they are supporting each other. Yes it will be a circus if they choose to go public at Cannes...but I can't believe that they will just brush off the fact that they are both at Cannes the same year for the second time.
And literally both of them have been quite MIA this year, I mean on the public apparition front. Their career path and even their MIA periods seem in sync ! RK is unbroken. :)

ReplyDeleteHKN - thank you for the new post. Seems as if the closer the baby is to term, the quieter it gets.
I'm not sure what the laws are, but we really don't have paparazzi down here. It's very rare to get celeb pics on or off set. Brad and Angelina, Sandra Bullock, and a few others have homes down here. You hardly ever get a photo. I know AU was filming in Lutcher for awhile, kinda in the middle of a few small towns. People would have to know where exactly filming is taking place to find Kristen. Nothing has been mentioned in the local papers. I love it personally.
Today was a beautiful day here. Hopefully Kristen got out to enjoy a bit of it.
The movie "Vanity Fair" was on last week. Bob Hoskins was terrific in that movie. What a shame he is with us no longer.

ReplyDelete@sanni. the met gala is in new york.. only a short flight from new orleans to nyc.. 2 hours 50 mins. we will see, if kristen is going to be there. nothing officially confirmed so far. ruth was in a plane yesterday.. where she was headed.. no idea. could be that she went ahead to prepare everything for the met. katy perry was there to last year, so she could have both, kristne and katy, to take care of again. just like last year.

Nolagirl: No the panhandle always seems to get the brunt of anything coming from the west or south west. it's a bowl kind of like Nola...I don't think it ever recovered completely from all the hurricanes and tropical storms a few years back...it took a few really bad hits.
Pretty much all of Fl. coastline has had a lot of erosion over the last ten years....hurricanes and tropical storms reek havoc on the shoreline...After the last ten yrs most of the insurance co.s won't cover the homes in this state anymore...we have all at one time or another had to turn to lesser known companies.
RKFaith: I think if Kristen attends the Met...She will do a quick fly in and out of N.Y. the 5th is on Monday...so we certainly won't have to wait long..Rob never usually accompanies her to this event, however he does join her in the city while she is there.

A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

Amount of homework they gave to little kids. They spend enough of their day in school. They need time to play and read. I never won the argument.

Dear POOKIE, I think the mini poem is beautiful, just like you! Dear Annie, you are so much fun! The most/least romantic sentences are super funny, the Spanish teacher is a real howl and I agree we have no complaint each way if Rob and/or Kristen cannot attend the Met. ANYTHING, really could be happening and Rob does not like to shave much so, I am thinking if he goes, it would be Mr. Ninja. Is it possible Kristen is filming still yet? Hard to know when you REALLY do not have a clue about her last shoot. With Kristen, honestly she is damned if she does or doesn't show, no joking. She is representing a fine clothing house, so filming may be on hold. I think that if Ruth is there, she may just show up, as in surprise! And, just like Dallas, she may disappear as quickly. Boom, boom, bang. But, whatever she does, I would imagine her private life will be almost impossible to determine. She is, I hope you all agree, a very good actress, and keeps her cards close to her chest, bet she plays a good game of Hearts. I am waiting to hear from my car repair shop to go pick up a repaired car, it has been a week now. Have a great day!

RD has a synopsis of Equals and Kristen's character Nia - really interesting because she is a character that "has feelings (as opposed to all the rest of the people in the movie's cast that don't), but she seems to be able to hide them". . I think this is a smart move in her part to choose such a role because it also relates to all the BS that she doesn't show emotions and can't act! She'll be playing someone that shows deep, inner emotions hidden well.. that totally relates with her real life as well. I
love that and I'm sure she'll be excellent. Filming with Nick Hoult and in Japan, this is too exciting! I can already smell the bullshit the rags will try to pin on their relationship with JLaw being jealous.. yuck.
Monday can't come soon enough! Can't wait to see her at the met gala, I love when Adir Abergel does her hair.. He's Israeli BTW so there's local pride for me there too :)

No Annie I saw the Met but did not go in...I don't know if it was culture shock but I loved the fast pace , I loved being able to walk endlessly..I went to katz deli (not sure about spelling there) and had themost delicious pastrami sandwich ever...EVER!...rode the subways on and off and by the end of the week I was hailing cabs like a pro....!and yep I was humming the tune to green acres......LOL!

I am curious to see what designer K has chosen this year to dress her and how they will interpret the theme. My all time favorite dress that she wore to the Met was the red dress!! Don't know how it related to that years theme but I can say she looked stunning in it!
I am also curious to see how Adir is going to style her hair and how her current color is going to be addressed. I think this might be a challenge. Lol
But no matter K will be beautiful, of that I'm certain.

So the game is about musicals. I love them so much and we know that both Rob an Kris can sing. Any particular one you think they could star together or appart?
A remake of Chicago with Kris playing Velma Kelly would be so good. For Rob maybe a remake of Grease. Any other suggestions?
Met Gala is coming as everyone is saying I'm enjoying the wait but if nothing spectacular happens I'm okay with it. Our kids owe us nothing so whatever they give is profit.

Annie - my best times in the US were in NYC, I stayed 3 weeks in Park Slope and loved it. I think it's one the best cities, you're so lucky to be there- tried once to see if maybe my husband's job would send us there for a year.. Good luck Monday!

It's 1:38 AM in NOLA - I don't think she needs those sunglasses on her and I don't think they're accidentally on her - I really love how she interacts with us, saying she's all good. Love her!

I don't see a reason for him to do otherwise, based on his past with Kristen and their friendship.

It's a lovely but warm day here in S.C. I saw the picture CJ posted, and yes, I believe that is Kris. It's just one picture with her in the shadow. Can't even tell what color her hair is. The Met Gala will give us much better pictures, and I can't wait to see how she looks. Would love to see her in vintage, MC, but whatever she's wearing will be gorgeous. I'm not bashing your idea or doubting K acting skills just pointing out what will likely happen if anyone decides to change the race of the lead actress and this time and day, IMO, YMMV.

ReplyDeleteas for cj and sydney.. they flew to new orleans to attend the jazz festival.. nyc is only a short flight away.. only 2 hours 50 minutes and there are at least 13 flights leaving each day from new orleans with the destination new york city.. kristen could fly out at noon tomorrow and still be right on time in new york. we will see
